British TV presenter Josie Gibson stated that she has been diagnosed with lipedema. She shared this during the broadcast of the show "This Morning" on ITV, as reported by The Sun.

According to Gibson, she learned about the serious illness thanks to a comment from a subscriber. "A couple of years ago, someone wrote to me on Instagram: 'You have a typical body for lipedema.' I thought, 'What is lipedema?' I had no idea what it was," she recalled.

The TV presenter noted that after this message, she visited a doctor, who confirmed the diagnosis. She identified swelling of the legs as the main symptom of the disease. "I would go away for shoots for the whole day, come back home, and my legs would swell. They would become very big and heavy and could hurt a lot," Gibson complained.
