In early November of this year, David Beckham was knighted, and the prefix “Sir” has now officially been added to his name. On December 15, his wife Victoria appeared on the show Watch What Happens Live, where host Andy Cohen asked the question that was on everyone’s mind: what name does she now go by?
“Please clarify for me. David Beckham, your husband — a handsome man — is now a knight, which means he is Sir David Beckham,” Cohen said, asking for clarification on whether this makes the designer “Lady Victoria.”
Victoria proudly replied, “I am Lady Beckham.” She officially received her title on November 4, when her husband was knighted for “services to sport and charity” at an awards ceremony at Windsor Castle. King Charles III personally honored David.
Along with Beckham's parents, Ted Beckham and Sandra West, Victoria attended the ceremony next to her husband in an elegant black dress of her own design. David was dressed in the first men's outfit from Victoria Beckham. “You have always been my knight in shining armor, but now it’s official,” Victoria wrote on her social media.
