The billionaire husband has secured the runway star for many years.
Dasha Zhukova stepped out with her husband — Greek billionaire Stavros Niarchos. The couple attended the Art and Artist charity gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
For the evening, 44-year-old Zhukova chose a velvet dress with a plunging neckline, complementing her look with large diamond earrings. It is worth noting that this year she once again became one of the co-chairs of the event. Among the guests were Annie Leibovitz, Thora Birch, and Georgina Chapman.
The annual Art and Artist gala has been held at the Metropolitan Museum for the past quarter-century to celebrate new acquisitions and additions to the cultural and artistic collection of the famous venue. This year, the event broke records, raising over $5 million for further development and expansion.
Zhukova and Niarchos do not often appear in public together. The last time they were spotted together was at a friend's party with a "Scottish punk" dress code, and prior to that, the couple attended the "wedding of the century" of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Stavros is an heir to a family of shipping magnates. Their wedding took place in 2019, a year after her divorce from Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, with whom she was married for 10 years and with whom she has a son and a daughter. With Niarchos, Zhukova has had three more children: a daughter and two sons, the youngest of whom was born at the end of last year.
This marriage is Zhukova's second — from 2007 to 2017, the founder of the Garage Museum was married to Roman Abramovich. After their divorce, Dasha and Roman remain friends and co-parent their two children, 10-year-old Aaron-Alexander and 7-year-old Leah. Stavros Niarchos is marrying for the first time, but before meeting Zhukova, he was engaged to Jessica Hart.
