The Russian duo t.A.T.u, reunited after a long hiatus, attended the opening of Gosha Rubchinskiy’s new boutique in Tokyo. Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina flew to the Japanese capital to support the designer, with whom they began collaborating as ambassadors this year. At the event, they met Kanye West, who had previously worked with Rubchinskiy on several projects.
The artists posed together with the musician and designer, becoming part of the social program accompanying the presentation. Their looks are in the punk rock aesthetic: leather, plaid, and recognizable silhouettes of the 90s, which Rubchinskiy himself draws upon.
After the official part, the guests headed to a private party where t.A.T.u planned to perform. For the duo, this is another notable public appearance — in recent months they have given several concerts and started preparing for a new tour.
Yulia Volkova and Lena Katina emphasize that past disagreements are left behind, and today both are fully focused on their collaboration and the further development of the project.
