The TV presenter herself used harmful substances for many years but found the strength to quit.
Last year, Glukoza (Natalia Ionova) found herself in a major scandal: the singer was accused of inappropriate behavior during a concert in Krasnoyarsk. At that time, the artist cited depression following her grandmother's death and attributed her strange actions to taking antidepressants. Rumor has it that she spent a month in a rehabilitation clinic. However, as fans suspect, the real issue was the illegal substances that the star was using.
This version was confirmed by Dana Borisova. The TV presenter does not hide the fact that she used drugs for a long time and then underwent treatment for addiction. She is now free from harmful habits and promotes a sober lifestyle at every opportunity.

In the show "Visiting Khangy," Dana shared that Glukoza's daughter, Lydia, reached out to her. The girl asked for advice on how to help her mother.
"Glukoza's daughter asks my daughter Polina: 'Ask your mom how she feels about the fact that my mom has been seen using several times, and then all this story... Can your mom do something for her or not?'. I said: 'Sweetheart, I have a principle now: all adults do what they want. Let mom ask, and I will advise her something,'" Dana says.
The TV presenter herself initially turned to alcohol: the blonde started drinking after Polina's father left her. At that time, the girl was only eight months old. Additionally, Dana began to have problems at work – she was demoted to a host of social chronicles at the TV channel. Borisova started attending parties daily, where alcohol was always present.
Later, a friend who was also using illegal substances introduced her to them. "He was from MUZ-TV or something like that. And he told me: to return, you must lose a lot of weight. Although I wasn't fat at that time. And somehow he brought it to me... I was already drinking then, and I didn't care what would happen," Borisova recalls.
The illegal substances were expensive, and to earn money, the TV presenter began working in escorting.
"I would find some men, bring them to my place, and I didn't care as long as they gave me money," the TV presenter admits.
After Andrey Malakhov arranged a rehabilitation course for Dana in Thailand, she overcame her addiction to alcohol and illegal substances. Today, Borisova regrets that drugs "devoured" a large part of her life.
"I regret that I lost so many years due to addiction. I lost a huge chunk of my life. Both in terms of health and in terms of people's attitudes. All of this, of course, did not benefit me. Maybe my life would have been much better and more interesting," Dana believes.
