The grand Victoria’s Secret 2025 show took place in New York, where the legendary "angels" – Alessandra Ambrosio, Irina Shayk, Adriana Lima, sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, as well as new stars – Lila Moss, Barbara Palvin, and Iris Law – once again took to the runway.
All eyes were on Bella Hadid: the 29-year-old model, despite health issues, still participated in the show. Her appearance with massive wings became one of the most discussed – Bella barely maintained her balance but professionally completed the runway walk. Fans noted that Hadid looked emaciated, yet shone no less than the others.
Her sister Gigi Hadid, on the other hand, literally radiated – perhaps her happy personal life alongside Bradley Cooper played a role. Before the show, the model shared a candid post on social media, recalling how ten years ago she was criticized for her "imperfect figure."
"That Gigi just wanted it so badly. And I thought about it this morning. I look at photos from that time and realize how cruel the world was to her. And not just to me, it is harsh to girls," the model wrote.
Irina Shayk also did not remain on the sidelines – the only Russian in this grand lineup. For her, Victoria’s Secret is a significant story. She first appeared on this runway about ten years ago while pregnant.
This time, Jasmine Tookes gifted the audience with her "pregnant" appearance. The model, expecting her second child, walked out to the composition "Angel" by Gavin Friday.
In the finale, the audience stood and applauded as legends – Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, Doutzen Kroes, and Alessandra Ambrosio – took to the runway. Their appearance symbolized that the brand, despite pauses and crises, is still capable of uniting strong, beautiful, and confident women.
Meanwhile, the younger generation of "angels" led by Barbara Palvin, Emily Ratajkowski, and Abby Champion is just beginning to taste that very fame. Barbara Ferreira – an actress and plus-size model, who was suspected of using Ozempic after her noticeable weight loss – was particularly discussed. She dismissed the rumors and emphasized that she got in shape on her own for new roles.
