Русские красавицы в XXI веке будут одеваться примерно так.

The return to roots goes hand in hand with fur coats and net bags.

Young people note that the interest in kokoshniks did not arise today or even yesterday - it has been gradually gaining momentum over the past two or three years. Experts believe that everything is fine. We are simply looking back at the past and choosing the very best from it.

  • Fashion is cyclical, - says KP.RU fashion expert, stylist, or radio host Vladislav Lisovets. - Recently, there has been a lot of sportswear in trends, and now it is being replaced by feminine, delicate, cozy, and more sexual items. There is more of this on the runways. Furthermore, we have started to talk more about patriotism and think about our roots - hence the interest in things 'from the past.' I wouldn't call kokoshniks, fur coats, and vatniks a global trend; it's something local. However, elegance, old money style, and a return to roots are coming back into fashion worldwide - beautifully draped scarves, strings of pearls, fur coats, and definitely paired with a shopper or a net bag, not an elegant handbag. Overall, this image is associated with Russia, although in the 1980s and 1990s, fur coats were worn in Italy and France.

In fact, the expert emphasizes, a wardrobe can consist of any items: fashion offers different options, and then everyone chooses for themselves, taking into account personal preferences, climate, and the city they live in.

As for kokoshniks, it seems that we should thank Nadezhda Kadysheva: she often wears them for her performances.

'Hello from the past' can be much deeper and more important than it seems at first glance. This is stated by practicing psychologist, TV host, writer, and candidate of psychological sciences Mikhail Khorst:

  • Society, like a person, goes through different stages of personal formation. Now we are witnessing the awakening of national self-consciousness, reliance on oneself, self-respect, - explains Mikhail Khorst.

According to the specialist, we have stopped running abroad, asking for 'inspiration' from the inhabitants of other countries, and have looked inside ourselves.

  • Hence the interest in our culture, hence the procession in Moscow, which recently gathered an incredible number of people. For the same reasons, we finally opened a Russian dance club in Chertanovo instead of Indian and American dances. All of this means that our society is maturing. We are no longer asking someone: 'Give us!' We are saying: 'We have.'
