The annual concert series is organized by the Riga Orchestra, inviting Latvian organists for collaboration. Traditionally, the series is dedicated to the dialogue between the orchestra and the organ in the music of the greatest composers in the world, and this year it will take place at St. John's Church in Riga.
On August 11, at 19:00, the first concert of the 'Summer Classics' cycle - 'Bach. Pärt. Penderecki' will be conducted by Valdis Butāns, with a solo performance on the organ by Ilze Reine.
On August 25, the second concert 'Bach. Schubert. Schumann' will be conducted by Atvars Laktiģals. Organist Aigars Reinis will perform with the 'Riga' orchestra.
