Raspberries are one of the main crops in summer cottages, valued for their taste and health benefits.
Gardeners always have numerous tasks aimed at increasing the yield of various crops.
To harvest more raspberry fruits, it is enough to carry out a few simple agricultural practices.
Thinning
There should be no more than 15-20 bushes per square meter of raspberry patch. Raspberries prefer sunny spots, so overly dense plantings can shade the plants, which will negatively affect the yield.
Watering
On hot and dry days, raspberries should be watered every 2-3 days. It is especially important to pay attention to watering in June and July when the berries begin to ripen.
Fertilization
At the beginning of summer, raspberries need additional nutrition, so gardeners prepare special fertilizers.
For example, raspberries respond well to the application of superphosphate. To prepare the solution, add 2 tablespoons of superphosphate to a bucket of water. First, dissolve it in a small amount of hot water, and then add it to the bucket with regular water. It is recommended to use 5 liters of the prepared solution for each raspberry bush.
