An unusual rescue operation was required by firefighters in South Tyrol, Italy: a lost cow wandered onto the territory of a wellness hotel and unexpectedly found itself right in the pool.
The incident occurred early in the morning in the commune of Tubre in the Val Venosta valley. Volunteer firefighters received a rather unusual call: "Cow in the pool."
As it turned out, the animal somehow made its way onto the territory of the spa hotel, approached the pool, and fell into the water, breaking through its protective cover.
The cow could not get out of the trap on its own, so the firefighters had to intervene. The rescuers successfully extracted the animal from the pool.
Despite the unexpected fall, the cow was unharmed.
ANSA noted with irony that the animal's unplanned "stay at the wellness center" ended well.
