This week, one of the motorcyclists injured in the accident during the motorcycle parade that took place in Jelgava last weekend has died in the hospital, confirmed the State Police to the LETA agency.
The motorcycle club "Vēja brāļu ordenis" announced the death of a club member on social media.
The State Police reported that the man passed away on Tuesday.
As reported, four people were injured during the motorcycle parade in Jelgava on Saturday.
During the ride through the city, a man born in 1954 on a "Harley Davidson" motorcycle collided with two police motorcycles that were positioned in the middle of the road to separate the flow of participants. After that, the "Harley Davidson" driver collided with another parade participant's motorcycle that was traveling in the opposite direction.
