On August 5, in Riga, a serious traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Petersalas Street and Katrinas Embankment, as a result of which one of the cars overturned on its side, reports Sadursme.lv.
According to preliminary information, at least three vehicles were involved in the accident. Emergency services were working at the scene.
Due to the accident, traffic was temporarily disrupted, including the suspension of tram services.
No official information has yet been received regarding the causes of the accident or whether there are any casualties.
