Iran intends to carry out strikes that could deprive the U.S. and its allies of oil and gas resources for a long time and affect not only the Middle East. This was stated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to Fars.
"We will carry out such work on the infrastructure of the U.S. and its allies that will deprive them of regional oil and gas for years," the publication states.
The IRGC warned U.S. regional allies that Iran had previously shown restraint and chosen targets similar to those struck in Iran while maintaining good neighborly relations, but now all restrictions are lifted. It is noted that if Washington decides to cross red lines, Tehran's response will extend beyond the Middle East.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck a petrochemical complex in Shiraz in southwestern Iran. It was clarified that Israel attacked the complex that produces nitric acid for the needs of Iranian troops.
