Rietumu Banka issues payment cards with a new design

Rietumu Banka has started issuing payment cards with a new modern design for all clients — both individuals and companies.

The new design symbolizes the bank's business philosophy, which is based on careful attention to detail with the aim of always finding and offering clients the best solutions.

The new design will be applied to all Rietumu Banka cards: Visa Infinite, Platinum, and Gold for individuals, as well as Visa Platinum Corporate, Gold Corporate, Silver Corporate, and Classic Corporate for companies.

"Bank cards provide all modern advantages, ensuring a convenient and secure payment process both in stores and online. They support Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as Click to Pay functionality, allowing for quick and easy cashless transactions. The new cards reflect the bank's approach to financial services: thoughtful, precise, and future-oriented," said Janis Pliksh, Head of Customer Service at Rietumu Banka.

In addition to basic functionality, Rietumu Banka payment cards offer a number of additional benefits that make their use even more convenient. This includes the ability to issue cards for family members, children, and teenagers, as well as various privileges depending on the card class, such as travel insurance, access to airport business lounges, and expedited security checks at Riga Airport.

The new cards are made from recycled plastic, which aligns with the bank's sustainability strategy — Rietumu Banka consistently implements eco-friendly solutions and finances renewable energy projects, confirming its responsible attitude towards the environment.

The card design was developed by Brandbox, which created a visual identity that emphasizes the bank's aesthetics and attention to detail — the textures of natural materials and subtle metallic accents in the design symbolically reveal hidden values and fine nuances. The new cards combine modern technology with a carefully considered design, ensuring fast and secure transactions, convenience in everyday use, and sustainable solutions for the environment.

All new cards at Rietumu Banka already feature the new design. Customers can continue to use all cards with the previous design until their expiration date, after which they will be automatically replaced with cards of the new design.
